~Market Memories~

No wide shots this time.
In my hustle~bustle, hurry~scurry and with more foot traffic than I can possibly recount .. I spaced the wide shots.
Arriving at the crack of 5:15, I was directed to a parking spot in the FAR south forty. How could I be 'late'?!!! I'm learning. Thank goodness for the nice man with the shuttle bus (aka: golf cart) .. a LiFesAVeR! Giddy vendors piled on. We shared coffee & excitement. And well wishes for a good day.
The extra $20 spent to set up the previous day was worth every single cent .. just a few last minute tweaks .. customers began arriving by 6 a.m.
I sooo love those pre~dawn moments. The first Flea of our season .. the excitement was thick. I will admit to feeling 'the rush'. The junkster within was jazzed & ready to roll.
During the few slow moments of the day I wandered with my camera. I'd hoped for a few blog~worthy shots. My offerings this time were a real mix .. something for everyone.
Here you have the not~so~wide shots. In no particular order. Still feeling a little punchy so decided to forego any editing.
Enjoy~

And my personal favorite ~

I connected with every customer. I thoroughly loved hearing how each would use their new~found treasures. Those sweet pink garden chairs will be missed, but I can promise you they went to a very loving home. :)
And another very special Thank You .. to the one who brought me a hot coffee in the middle of the morning, an iced coffee in the middle of the afternoon, helped me load up at day's end. And brought me Thai take~out for supper on the couch. I love my job. But not like I love this man. :)
It was a very busy day .. I did not get to wander or shop the Market at all. I did, however, find a few to~die~for treasures in the boothes of my neighboring vendors. I know, I know .. . let a few go ~ bring a few home .. .
I'll share them with you soon. They'll be staying for a while ~
Hoping yours is a truly treasure~filled week~

{Jackie ~ soooo glad you came out, we were thrilled to see you ;-}

Those rose patterned china cups, saucers, and plates are the same pattern as some platters my mom handed down to me. Very special to me. I'm so glad your sale was a success in every way!
